Junior Basketball

Every Monday from 4-5pm Basketball Workshops take place at Southbury Leisure Centre. The workshops feature skills, drills and matches from qualified coaches and is the ideal chance to show off your skills or learn new ones. The sessions are open to boys and girls aged 8-12 and is £2.50 per person.

Junior Badminton

Junior Badminton takes place at Southbury Leisure Centre every Tuesday from 4.30-5.30pm. During this session players can learn new shots and techniques from a qualified coach and also take part in matches against other players. The session regularly attracts boys and girls aged 8-14 and is £3 per person. 

Pay and Play Football

Calling all Thierry Henry wannabes, every Saturday morning at Southbury Leisure Centre, pay and play football takes place from 4-6pm on the Astro Turf Pitches. This session features skills practices and small sided games.

The session has been going for over a year now and there are a committed group of players who have already played in a tournament as a team. These sessions are open to boys aged 11-16 and this session is only £2.00 per person

Edmonton Table Tennis Project in Association with Ellenborough Table Tennis Club

If you like Table Tennis you'll love Friday nights at Edmonton Leisure Centre. Featuring coaching from professional coaches, this session has matches, competitions and skills. Tuesday and Wednesday Nights, the project is held at Boundary Hall, Snells Park, N18 from 5-7pm and 5-9pm on Wednesdays which again features professional coaching.

All equipment is provided and is open to both boys and girls. The session has also featured the Dunlop award scheme in which young people can gain a certificate and badge if they pass some basic table tennis skills tests. Also in the school holidays coaching camps are held and players can attend every day to play table tennis.

Southbury Saturday Club

Come and take over Southbury Leisure Centre for a morning of fun and games. The Saturday Club features football, basketball, cricket, badminton, swimming and many others. The Saturday Club also attend the UGC cinema on a regular basis. The club runs from 9-1.30pm and is £5.90 per person. To avoid disappointment Parents will need to book and pay in advance at Southbury Leisure Centre reception.

Sports Hall Birthday Parties

Wondering what to do for your son or daughters birthday party this year? Why not bring them to Southbury Leisure Centre and let us provide them with a birthday they won't forget. We offer Football, Basketball, Badminton and Multi Sports Parties where you can choose what activities you want to do. We also offer a room for you to provide food for your party.

Sports hall parties are great value and take place at Southbury Leisure Centre on Sunday Afternoons, please check with Southbury for availability.

Cheerleading with The North London Wildcats

Calling all energetic girls and boys aged 10+. Come and learn a new and exciting sport. Cheerleading is run by qualified instructors from the North London Wildcats and features funky routines which are a combination of street style dance, gymnastics and pyramid building. Cheerleading takes place at Southbury Leisure Centre every Saturday from 12-2pm and is £3.50.

Women and Girls Basketball

Every Tuesday from 6-8pm come and get involved with women's basketball at Southbury Leisure Centre. The session is open to females 11 + and features coaching from a fully qualified coach with skills and matches on offer. Every Tuesday only £3.00 for 2 hours of Basketball

Street Dance

Every week come and learn new routines and movements from dancers from E & K's dance group. The class is held at Southbury Leisure Centre for young people aged between 7-11

Trampolining

New trampoline courses will be commencing from January 2005 on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The course is for a period of 15 weeks and each session is 1 hour long. There are three different start times to choose from. There are classes at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm. Check back for more information on start times.

Edmonton Canoe Group

Edmonton Canoe Group use Edmonton Leisure Centre to teach kids and adults how to use a canoe safely and effectively. Participants must be over 9 and be able to swim 50 metres. Canoeing is an excellent sport for improving fitness and upper body strength, as well as this you get to make lots of new friends. Courses are run on Thursday evenings between 6.45-8.45pm.
