Pre-school children are able to develop their water confidence and take time to enjoy "being in water" during our "Duckling" & "Cygnet" classes.

From 5 years children can learn to swim during group sessions which enable complete beginners to develop through to advanced swimmers.

Adults, if you didn't learn as a child then here's a chance to take "Learn to Swim" lessons and enjoy them!

Lessons are held during the day, evenings and at weekends throughout the year including school holidays. All lessons are taken by qualified instructors and participants are coached in groups which are usually in a 10 participants to 1 instructor ratio to ensure everyone gets the very best attention.

For further information and advice please telephone the leisure centre of your choice as listed on our website (centres).

NO HATS, NO SWIM - At the start of the September 2009 Learn to Swim courses your child/children was issued with a FREE swimming hat, colour coded for each level of swimming class. Swimming hats have been introduced into the Learn to Swim programme for safety, ease of recognition of level and an aid to develop achievement.
