FREE SWIMMING IS IN ENFIELD

Free swimming has been available to the 16s and under and the over 60s since April 1st 2009.

Please note that free swimming will be available at our programmed public swimming sessions. Please check with each swimming pool for their specific programme.

During holiday periods and busy weekends there will be a need to limit public sessions to 90 minutes. Swimmers will be issued with coloured bands and all pools will be cleared at the end of each session.

Tickets will go on sale 5(five) minutes before the start of  each session.

We are afraid to say that queues will develop but we hope everyone will appreciate that we have a duty of care to all users and cannot exceed our recommended maximum number of swimmers in each pool.

Swimming is Fun it's a great way to exercise and it's good value.

The pools at  Edmonton Leisure Centre provide something for the whole family to enjoy.

The Main Pool is a 25 metre 6 lane pool for serious swimmers to enjoy.

The Activity Pool has a floor which can be raised up and down to suit the varied swimming programme.

For toddlers there's a beach area and walk in paddling pool.

For those that want a thrill try the two water flumes. (please note that the flumes are subject to availability)

Swimming Pool Admissions Policy

Main Pool

  • Children under 5 years must be accompanied on a one-to-one basis, regardless of their swimming ability, by a responsiable adult (minimum age of 16 years) at ALL times.  
  • One adult may accompany up to two children between the ages of 5-7 years.  
  • Non swimmers must remain in shallow water.  

Teaching Pool

  • Children under 8 years must be accompanied by a responsiable adult (minimum age of 16 years) at ALL times.  
  • One adult may accompany up to 4 children between the ages of 5-7 years.
  • One adult may accompany up to 2 children under the age of 5 years.

Poolside Steam & Sauna

Treat yourself to a Steam and/or Sauna as well as a swim! Sauna & Steam facilities can be used on a casual basis or as part of one of our aspire memberships - see reception for full details. You have to be 17 years or over to use the sauna & steam facilities.
